Worship At Bervie
At Bervie Church, we want to offer a place where everyone is able to meet with God. Whoever you are, however you're feeling, there's a place for you here.
We meet each Sunday at 11am, as well as a new, shorter, Midweek Praise Evening with more contemporary worship on Wednesday's at 7pm.
During our Sunday morning gathering at 11am we'll sing some songs led by our praise group and organist, pray to God and listen to a relevant message from the Bible. Sometimes some of our church family speak about how God is impacting their life or share with us how God has answered a prayer, to inspire us in our relationship with Jesus.
Come along early to grab a free coffee on us. Then, stay behind afterwards for some more coffee - we always have great cakes after too. There's always time to get to know people and find out more about us. (Please note, during Covid-19, we are unable to serve refreshments).
We know not everyone wants to rush out the door on a Sunday morning, so we'd love to invite you to our Midweek Praise evening. We gather each Wednesday at 7pm for a shorter talk from the Bible, and more contemporary worship music. We occasionally hear from people sharing how Jesus has impacted their lives too.
Children & Youth
We love to welcome children and young people (and those who are young at heart). We have groups for youngsters from 0-18 if your children wish to join in each Sunday.
Your children get to spend time with you during the main service for the first 15 minutes before they are invited to head to dedicated groups run by people who are great at helping young people find out about Jesus. All our children's volunteers have gone through disclosure checks and training.
But if your children want to stay with you instead, that's totally okay. Please don't worry about your children being noisy, or about them wanting to wander during the service. After all, we were all children once, and we don't mind.
Just come as you are.
